Tuesday, Jan 8, 9:00am-11:00am: Concert rehearsal at SPHS
Student will be called to the office at 8:45am to load busses and head to SPHS. Memorial and Mahoney rehearse from 9:00am-10:00am and then we rehearse with the HS students from 10:00-10:40 and be back to school by 11:00am. Student will be missing a bit of class time for this rehearsal. Teachers have been notified!
I highly suggest students dress in layers. Wearing a t-shirt is HIGHLY recommend. Students often overheat at rehearsal if wearing hoodies/sweaters!
Wednesday, Jan 9, 7:00: Concert at SPHS (students arrive at 6)
This concert is a part of the student’s grade for the standard, “performs a variety of music.” Students need to arrive at 6:00PM to warm up and run through a few pieces. Seating for the audience will begin at 6:40PM. The concert should be over by 8:30 (if not earlier).
Student should wear black pants or skirts and white shirts. If possible, please wear dress shoes (or dark shoes) and ties for the gentlemen. If you need help getting clothing please let me know!
Chorus students, please complete this survey for Tree Lighting Song Selection. It asks you to suggest ONE new song (more if you like). Look around google or youtube for ideas! Take your time to help better our Tree Lighting this year!
Pick one of these 3 songs (Bohemian Rhapsody, Paint It Black, or Eye of the Tiger) and list the instrument you hear featured in the order that you hear them. You may need to listen a couple times. Send me a google doc with your song title and a list of instruments!! (email@example.com)
